Our matcha begins in Kirishima, a volcanic region in Kagoshima, Japan—famous not for hype, but for some of the purest organic matcha in the world. Grown in nutrient-rich volcanic soil, that deepens sweetness and highlights a clean, earthy umami.
The high elevation and misty climate slow leaf growth, boosting antioxidants while helping each leaf develop that signature vibrant green. As pioneers of organic farming, Kirishima’s growers have spent decades perfecting sustainable cultivation that protects soil, water, and biodiversity.
